Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Daryl Talks Podcast! I'm your host, Daryl Lumsdon, and I'm thrilled to have you join me on this journey of exploration, discovery, and good old-fashioned conversation.

First things first, let me introduce myself. As you've probably gathered from the name of the podcast, my name is indeed Daryl Lumsdon. I hail from the picturesque town of Saltash, nestled in the stunning county of Cornwall. Yes, that's right, I'm a proud Cornishman through and through.

Now, before we dive into the depths of our discussions, I feel it's only fair to lay down a few facts about myself. So here goes: Sorry ladies, but I'm happily married. My lovely wife and I are eagerly anticipating the arrival of our second child, as we already have one delightful daughter keeping us on our toes.

Growing up in Saltash has shaped me in more ways than I can count. From my early days in primary school where I chased a football around the playground, to my secondary school years where I traded in my football boots for rugby cleats and picked up a guitar to serenade my classmates. Yep, you could say I was a bit of a Jack-of-all-trades.

Speaking of which, my interests have always been as diverse as they come. From sports to music, from coffee brewing to wine tasting, and even a stint as a car salesman – I've dabbled in it all. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a "faddy" character, always eager to try my hand at something new and exciting. And now, here I am, navigating the world of aggregate sales. Who would've thought, right? But hey, life is full of surprises, and I'm all for embracing the twists and turns that come my way.So, what can you expect from the Daryl Talks Podcast? Well, think of it as a melting pot of ideas, stories, and musings on life, the universe, and everything in between. From insightful interviews with fascinating guests to solo episodes where I share my thoughts on various topics – no stone will be left unturned.

Until next time, stay curious, stay open-minded, and above all, keep talking.
